Matbhedh
Awarded the 'Best Graduation Film 2024' award-
Matbhedh was written and directed by me as a graduation film at FLAME University.
It is story about the relationship of a single father with her daughter that takes a turn for the worse when the daughter decides to choose her life and a partner of her choice rather than obeying her father's wishes. She returns to her hometown after 15 years after her father's passing during Covid. The film goes back and forth navigating through the bittersweet memories of the protagonist and whether or not she would be able to handle the grief of losing her father and the sense of 'home' and not being able to reconcile with him.

Parchhai
Written and Directed by me-
Parchaai is the story of the residents of Room 407, Maya and Ruchi. The two live peacefully and enjoy each other's company- go out for lunch and fill each other's water bottles before going to sleep. All is well till one night, Maya wakes up thirsty with a dry throat. She cannot find any water. Much to her annoyance, this happens the night after, too. One night, tossing and turning in bed, Maya notices a tilted head shadow on her balcony - sending chills up her spine. In the days that follow, Maya loses sleep - and her mind. She sees the shadow everywhere, and it seems to follow her around. Finally, after catching her roommate sleepwalking and upon much coercion, she confides in Ruchi, who comforts her, puts her to bed, and goes to fill up their water bottles, all the while revealing that she is the titled head shadow herself.

Sevayatri

Sevayatri is a documentary about the priests of the Jagannath Temple that have been serving the Lord from generations .
Jagannath Temple, one of India's Char Dhams, located in the coastal city of Puri that draws countless worshippers each year through this documentary. Discover every aspect of the temple and the three deities residing inside, the Mahaprasad provided there, as well as the brilliant and colorful clothing worn by the three Lords: Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Lady Subhadra.
The documentary covers the Sevayats (priests) in the temple who have the essential function of keeping every seva together while ensuring that all rituals are performed daily and on time.

Vadhuvu is a web series about a mysterious family, streaming currently on Hostar. I interned as an assistant to the DOP for the same under SVF Entertainment.

Pen to Paper
Dead End
Dead End was my first attempt at writing a script. It speaks about the effects a broken family can have on kids and how overpowering thoughts can be. Sometimes in life when we are extremely overwhelmed, we feel that we have reached a dead end and do not see a way forward, what we do not realize is that by taking a U-turn or moving back a few steps, we can fix things that seem unfixable at the moment.
